OUAT’s ‘Going Home’ was directed by Ralph Hemecker. Writers were Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.

In pre-curse FTL, Blue Superior (Keegan Connor Tracy) tells Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Charming’s (Josh Dallas) unborn child will save them. Rumple (Robert Carlyle) is interrupted when lighting a candle for Bae’s birthday. Belle (Emilie de Ravin) tries to get him to talk but he wants her to leave him alone.

In past Neverland, Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) drags Smee (Chris Gauthier) through the jungle. He thinks he’ll find the Dark One’s dagger there. They run into Tink (Rose McIver) instead. In Storybrooke 2001, Snow gives the book to a depressed Henry and tells him not to lose hope.

In Storybrooke, Pan in Henry’s body (Jared S. Gilmore) casts a curse. This will take away their memories and Pan will be in charge. There won’t be a failsafe or loophole to break it either. Rumple (Robert Carlyle) tells Regina (Lana Parrilla) she must cast a counter curse to save everyone.

Since Pan never loved Rumple he took Felix’s (Parker Croft) heart. Loyalty and friendship can substitute for the thing you love most. Rumple has a spell that will put Henry and Pan back in their own bodies.

Charming, Hook, Bae (Michael Raymond-James) and Tink go to the nuns during Blue Superior‘s funeral for The Dark Fairy’s wand. Vital element to Rumple’s spell. Pan’s Shadow tries to stop them. But it’s captured and killed by repowered Tink. The Shadow’s death returns Blue Superior’s soul and life. She will give Tink back her wings and handed over the wand.

The spell works but Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) is full of tricks. The anti-magic cuff Rumple used to bind his powers doesn’t work. On him since he created it. He puts it on his son. Leaving Rumple with a terrible choice. Cut off his hand or face him without magic.

The good: Everyone working together to defeat Pan. The boys are switched back. Ting gets her wings back. Some things happened as expected others didn’t. RumBelle flashback! Dearies have been starved. Felix should’ve known.

Everything surrounding Pan’s fate and what happened afterwards is WHAT?!? Loved the sacrifice Regina made and gifts given. Emotions on a rollercoaster. Big reset with hope for the future. Knew that event would be the only way ( ) would finally get redemption. Didn’t expect it to actually happen. Recovery will take a while. It shocked the entire Oncer community. BEST SEASON EVER.

The bad: No mention of a Dark Fairy until now. The Neverland and dual Henry flashbacks took away from Pan vs everyone. Understand why they were there. But wanted more of the main storyline. Still have a problem with Blue Superior letting terrible stuff happen. When it comes to her non inference policy, she’s inflexible with certain people and lenient with others.

The ugly: Peter Pan was a colossal jerk. The hateful things he said about Rumple. GRRRRR! Dearie army to mount a revolt.
