OUAT’s ‘A Tale of Two Sisters’ was directed by Ralph Hemecker. Writers were Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz.

In past Ardendale, preparations are underway for Anna’s (Elizabeth Lail) and Kristoff’s (Scott Michael Foster) wedding. A long lost item reveals invaluable details about a certain event. The info prompts someone to go on a quest filled with danger.

Memories of threats posed by the Duke of Weselton and Prince Hans (Tyler Jacob Moore) almost cause Elsa (Georgina Haig) to close their borders. Genuine allies are hard to come by.

In SB, Granny’s (Beverley Elliott) potluck is suddenly over. The identity of EQ’s (Lana Parrilla) former prisoner is revealed. Reactions? Various degrees of shock.

Mama Bear Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) isn’t letting the little one out of her sight. No more Wicked people are getting her baby. Charming (Josh Dallas) keeps a vigilant eye on both of them. Rumple (Robert Carlyle) and Belle (Emilie de Ravin) find a cozy spot for their honeymoon.

Meanwhile, Captain Swan seems to be spending their days on the run. Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) follows Emma (Jennifer Morrison) around trying to get in some quality time while she does sheriff stuff.

The good: You didn’t need to see Frozen to learn who’s who and what happened. Love the F/X. Frozen cast is spot on. Sven’s reactions were hysterical. Has anyone ever told Grand Pabbie he’s cute? The return of a certain someone is cause for both celebration and dread. They didn’t leave under the best circumstances.

Will the newlyweds be changing their address? Raise your hand if you want them to move into that place. Love every Rumbelle moment. One unsolved mystery is how Belle walks in those heels? Another is how long will The Dark One be able to resist temptation? Sooner or later, Snowing will come calling. What does Rumple know about The Snow Queen?

Do Robin Hood and his Merry Men know about Ruby? Because no-one wants her accidently shot while out for a run. How can people identify her as good wolf?

Swoon worthy: Rumbelle dance. Went through box of Kleenex over this scene.

Best Lines: Because surprises tend to be hit or miss in this family. That is the person I was not the person I am. You have a sister. You’re never going be alone. Other than when I’m not around. But even then I’ll be there in spirit.

The bad: Raise your hand if you wanted a two hour premiere. (And two-part season finale the same year. Will never give up never surrender on those campaigns.) Episode felt more like the Frozen hour. Additional time could’ve been devoted to what happened to everyone after Back to the Future segment.

The ugly: Continental Divide of roadblocks for several couples. Think Archie needs to clear his schedule for multiple couple’s therapy. Will a “loophole” allow a baddie to return? Henry needs an army of friends. How about Grace, Ava, Nicholas, Pinocchio and Roland? Will Grandpa Rumple, Belle and Emma tell Henry stories about Baelfire?
