OUAT’s ‘Kansas’ was directed by Gwyneth Horder-Payton. Writers were Andrew Chambliss and Kalinda Vazquez.

In FTL the lost year, Wicked (Rebecca Mader) loves her new basecamp in the Land of Oz. She uses her looking glass to watch ‘This Is Your Life’. She sees key moments in Young Regina’s (Lana Parrilla) past before and after she became The Evil Queen. Zelena fancies The Dark One (Robert Carlyle) like no other.

But she turns new shades of green over his decision for Regina to cast the first curse. Jealously gives birth to an impossible scheme. She’ll cast a spell to go back in time so Rumple will pick her instead. All she needs to do is collect specific ingredients. When combined they’ll create a time portal allowing her to change the past.

Glinda (Sunny Mabrey) pops by for a visit. The Good Witch of The South came by to say she’s glad Zelena turned the Wizard into a flying monkey. He was a trickster offering the citizens of Oz false hope. Glinda surprises her with a once in a lifetime offer. A seat on the council of witches. Become The Witch of the West and rule Oz with them.

Holy conundrum, Batman! Does she go for revenge or start over with a fresh slate? Greenie doesn’t commit to anything but agrees to meet the others. Witch of the East (Sharon Taylor) and Witch of the North (Karen Holness) welcome her with open arms. The three ladies represent love, wisdom and courage. Zelena doesn’t think she belongs with this crowd. Glinda tells her reclaimed innocence can be especially powerful.

The book of prophecies foretold the arrival of a person to Oz in a cyclone. Wicked has that qualification. Zelena said yes after banishing lingering doubts and envy. Everything is coming up roses until one day a green cyclone deposits a house from somewhere else. Oz has a new resident: Dorothy Gale (Matreya Scarrwener).

In SB, it’s all hands on deck as Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) goes into labor. Everyone out of the way for potential savior number two is coming. Charming (Josh Dallas) and Emma (Jennifer Morrison) take momma bear to the hospital pronto. Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) is glad adults are letting him help. All Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) wants is for Emma to stay.

The good: Rumple staring red hot daggers of death at Zelena. Savor the uninterrupted RumBelle moment. Regina & Emma put a force field around Snow’s birthing room. Henry & Archie hanging out together like they used to. Regina’s heartfelt chat with Zelena.

Best lines: At least he can draw fire. What? Now I’m cannon fodder. Come for another beating? No I came for some jewelry. So now you’re a hero? Today I am. Your taste in women has really gone downhill. Its future and potential are as limitless as your own. Down the yellow brick road of course.

The bad: Caged Rumple.

The ugly: Which is worse? Zelena’s giggling or mad cackling? That sister needs to be stopped.
